We've all see the t-shirts with the motto "Jesus is Coming, Look busy". There is now a church is Nottingham near the "Forest/Goose fair" ground with this on its signs.
I am not aware as to how much irony there is in that, intentional or otherwise, but I think its a touch high

I have one of those t-shirts and got into a discussion about it with a fervent Christian Nutcase I know.
From a Christian point of view the return of Jesus is supposed to be the end of the world. The lines will be drawn between good and evil and the final battle will happen (the 666 beasty business). Looking busy isn't going to stop Satan from sticking a red hot poker up your bottom as punishment for slacking in your devotion to Christ. Jesus, I was told, is for Life, not just for Xmas.
If that is true then I think your church is going to be called out of line on the day of judgement and giving a stern spanking.
