As you may know, a live action movie based on the toyline Transformers is in production, appearently drawing inspiration from the original story in the 1980's.
Interesting new pictures have appeared of what seems to be the old favourite "Astrotrain", a character not seen since mullets were fashionable, updated to a modern production standard. Click here

hahahaha - no it wasnt was it. hahaha. loved all of it though :-)
they never explored the cybertron versions of what they transformed into though apart from a few - bumblebee and wheeljack spring to mind.
and what about shockwave - a flying gun!!! come on!!!

i never had astrotrain - but i do remember in the movie the constructicons managed to combine into devestator inside him in shuttle mode. i reckon thats good going considering the relative sizes of the toys. hee hee hee :-)
